The Board of Directors of Fondazione Agnelli, which met yesterday under the chairmanship of John Elkann, has welcomed three new members: Marta Cartabia, Renzo Piano and Andrea Sironi.
Marta Cartabia, full professor of Constitutional Law at Bocconi University in Milan, was president of Italy’s Constitutional Court and Minister of Justice.
Renzo Piano is an architect and senator for life of the Italian Republic.
Andrea Sironi is an economist and the chairman of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., president of Bocconi University in Milan, and chairman of Fondazione AIRC for cancer research.
Chairman John Elkann expressed deep gratitude and esteem on behalf of the entire Fondazione Agnelli to Valeria Fedeli, Francesco Profumo and Salvatore Rossi, who reached the end of their mandates, for the ideas contributed over the years.
The members of Fondazione Agnelli’s Board of Directors receive no emolument.
